WALLA WALLA -- Walla Walla Parks & Recreation is offering a writers' workshop starting in January.
Classes are held at Carnegie Center, 109 S. Palouse St. Pre-registration is required -- visit www.wwpr.us. or the office at 55 Moore St.
The Writers' Coaching Workshop class will be held Jan. 24 and 31, and Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28, at 6-8 p.m. Cost is $84.
For people age 16 and older, Dayton-area freelance writer Carolyn Henderson, whose Middle-Age Plague personal column is a regular feature in the Union-Bulletin's Walla Walla Valley Weekly, will coach students through writing projects.
