BAKER CITY, Ore. -- Jeff Tomac has been selected as the new Whitman District Ranger on the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest.
Tomac has been in the position since Jan. 3.
Tomac comes to the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest from the Black Hills National Forest in Wyoming. Most recently he served as Supervisory Rangelands Management Specialist for that forest.
Tomac is a graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D.
