Beverly Lou Inglis of Walla Walla passed away Jan. 29, 2011, at the
Washington Odd Fellows Home at the age of 77. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at 1 p.m. at St. Patrick
Catholic Church with Father Kevin Oiland, celebrant. Interment will follow at Blue Mountain Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to DeSales High School through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.
Beverly was born Sept. 4, 1933, in Tacoma to Allan and Virginia Perkins Waldon. Beverly lived most of her childhood in Seattle and graduated from Queen Anne High School.
She worked at Seattle Public Library until June 1953, when she married Dwight Inglis in Craigmont, Idaho. They started raising their family there and moved to Walla Walla in January 1965. She was a
stay-at-home mom with six children. After the children were of school age, she started bowling and was an avid bowler. She worked nights at a local cannery until 1997.
She is survived by her husband, Dwight, at the home; one sister, Joyce Stuckey of Richland; six children, Richard Inglis of Richland, Thurston (Rusty) Inglis of Princeton, Ore., Cynthia Wetherald of
Medical Lake, Wash., Paul Inglis of Seattle, Steven Inglis of Richmond, Kan., Kelly Inglis of Spokane; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allan and Virginia Waldon.
