COLLEGE PLACE -- Walla Walla University will host an engineering colloquium with whistle-blower Walter L. Tamosaitis on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and will be held in Room 154 of Chan Shun Pavilion, located on Southwest Fourth Street.
In his presentation, "Engineering Ethics, Values, Success and You," Tamosaitis will present his views on ethics in engineering and his experiences in the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant project. Tamosaitis filed a lawsuit against his company when he lost his position after raising concerns about the plant's safety.
Tamosaitas will be accompanied by Tom Carpenter, attorney and executive director of the Hanford Challenge, who will address legal considerations related to the lawsuit.
