Christian W. Scott, 16, 125 Francis Drive, was sentenced Jan. 289 on one count each fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief. The sentence included 60 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for 41 days served, 12 months community supervision, 40 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs, restitution to be determined. On Jan. 14 Scott pleaded guilty to, under circumstances not amounting to first-, second-, third-degree or custodial assault, assaulting another person and to knowingly and maliciously causing physical damage to property of another on Dec. 18.
Brandon A. Jackson, 17, 502 Holly St., was sentenced Jan. 28 on one count each minor in possession and or consuming liquor and violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act-possession of drug paraphernalia. The sentence included 60 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, 12 months community supervision, 30 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Jan. 14 Jackson pleaded guilty to knowingly possessing or consuming liquor while under the age of 21 years and of using drug paraphernalia to inhale or otherwise introduce a controlled substance into the body on Aug. 5.
