Stateline Adventist to host pancake, waffle breakfast

MILTON-FREEWATER - Stateline Adventist Church Friendship Center, 53730 Stateline Road, will host a community pancake and waffle breakfast from 8-10 a.m. today.

The meal, which is by donation, is a fundraiser sponsored by the Milton-Stateline Adventist School seventh- and eighth-graders. It will benefit the eighth-grade passage trip and the seventh-grade celebration.

The Father's House to show movie ‘Crossroads' Friday

WALLA WALLA - The Father's House, 304 N. Second Ave., will sponsor a movie night on Friday, beginning at 7 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

The featured movie will be "Crossroads," a story about a man who must pick up the pieces of his life as he pursues justice against the boy who killed his wife and child while drag-racing.

The movie is based on a true story.

M-F First Baptist slates soup, sandwich lunch fundraiser

MILTON-FREEWATER - First Baptist Church, 102 S. Main St., will host a soup and sandwich lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.

The proceeds will be used to paint the church.

Lunch is $5 for adults, $2.50 for children 6-12 $2.50 with children 5 and under free.

Christian Women's Connection lunch is Feb. 16

A Christian Women's Connection luncheon will be 11:30-1:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Seneca Activity Center in Dayton. It will be catered by Ruth Shearer. The cost is $9.

The theme will be "Light Up Your Life."

Barbi Johnson, from Nussentials Whole Food Products & Natural Soy Candles, will be be featured

Music will be by Yelizaveta "Liz" Romadin, part of the Columbia County team that recently went to Zambia.

Kristi Roberts of Mabton, Wash., will present "The Influence of a Grandmother's Life," a drama written by Jan Mathers. .
