TOUCHET - A contest pitting a pair of teams with 4-9 Southeast 1B District records became a one-sided affair by the end of the first quarter here Friday night.
The hometown Indians shot 47 percent in the opening period, led 18-6 after eight minutes, and cruised to their fourth straight boys basketball triumph - a 56-35 senior night romp over Pomeroy.
Friday's game was the last home encounter for Touchet seniors Jake Hodnefield, Matt Kates and Joey Weber.
Regular-season play was scheduled to end for both teams on Saturday night. Touchet was on the road at Tekoa-Oakesdale and Pomeroy hosted St. John-Endicott.
