TOUCHET - Pomeroy was able to overcome 31-percent shooting from the field, 24 turnovers and a second-quarter scoring drought of four-and-half-minutes to spoil Touchet's senior night celebration with a 36-28 victory in Southeast 1B District girls basketball action here Friday night.
Both teams were scheduled to end their regular seasons Saturday night. The Pirates were to host St. John-Endicott and the Indians traveled to Tekoa-Oakesdale.
