Touchet girls come up short on road

OAKESDALE - Touchet's girls held a five-point lead with 1:20 left in the fourth quarter, but relinquished the last nine points in a 42-38 loss to Tekoa-Oakesdale in the Southeast 1B Conference girls basketball regular-season finale for both schools here Saturday night.

The Indians, who got 12 points from Kristen Warner and 11 from guard Hillary Intinarelli, ended the year 3-11 in league and 4-16 overall.

Courtney Perry and Alex Overton, who hit a 3-point shot to start the Nighthawks' comeback, scored 11 points apiece to lead T-O and Kayler Dub added 10.
