planning: Approve ordinance regarding regulation sign setbacks on county roads in unincorporated areas. Action scheduled for 1:30 p.m. during time for Joint Community Development Agency.

transit: Approve interlocal agreement with Valley Transit for operation of the Appointment Keepers Transportation System.
grant: Authorize Police Department to accept $5,120 grant from Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chief for traffic safety equipment.
workshop: Workshop on proposed business registration ordinance that would allow the city to track business operations in the city.
whitman drive: Authorize staff and consultant to prepare documents, advertise for bids and provide Council with a summary of successful bidders for award of contract for Whitman Central Corridor Project for Whitman Drive.
ATHENA-WESTON SCHOOL BOARD
When: Monday, 7 p.m.
Where: Weston Middle School library
FFA: Correspondence of letter of thanks to board from high school FFA members.
FINANCE: Review of state budgetary forecast that will be Feb. 15.
SUPERINTENDENT: Review of superintendent evaluation schedule.
PERSONNEL: Any new hires or resignations.
IMESD: Consider approving Local Service Plan for 2011-12.
POLICY: Consider adopting board policy on disclosure to other districts regarding part of current employees.
SPORTS: Consider approving cooperative agreements for baseball and softball with Griswold High School in Helix for 2010-11 and 2011-12 school years.
DRAMA: Consider approving high school drama trip of culture to Portland.
COLUMBIA SCHOOL BOARD

BUSINESS: Reviewing affirmative action plan; family and consumer science curriculum.
WORKSHOP: Discuss DNA of Columbia, and guiding coalition.
Milton-Freewater City Council
When: Monday 7 p.m.
Where: 8 S.W. Eighth Ave, Public Library Albee Room.
WIND energy generation: Discuss county codes for wind tower facilities.
