PASCO — Dayton topped Tri-Cities Prep 49-47 in its Southeast 2B girls regular- season finale Saturday night.

Nicole Lambert’s 13 points paced the Bulldogs.

Tri-Cities Prep led 9-6 after the first, and it was knotted at 18-all at the half.

"We came out a bit lethargic after having played a tough game the night before," said Dayton coach Scott Hudson. "We played better in the second half, especially in the fourth quarter. Give Tri-Cities Prep credit, though. They shot pretty well and stuck with us."

Dayton plays at Liberty Christian in a play-in game for districts on Monday.

If Dayton wins, they would play again Tuesday night.
