MILTON-FREEWATER - Joseph Delgado scored a game-high 24 points to lead Ontario to a 58-36 victory over Mac-Hi in a Greater Oregon League boys basketball game here Saturday night.

"He's really good," Mac-Hi coach Sean Oliver said. "He's a super-athletic kid. He knows how to get to his spot and is efficient with his scoring.

"We tried to send a lot of people at him, but we didn't rotate fast enough and he made us pay," Oliver said. "We played together, but it wasn't enough."

The Pioneers are now 1-6 in league and 5-15 overall.

Romero Corona led the Pioneers with 11 points.

Mac-Hi's next game is Tuesday at La Grande.
