WALLA WALLA -- A new branch library in Walla Walla will be among items on the agenda Tuesday for the Walla Walla County Rural Library District board.
The board will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the Baker-Boyer Bank, 1530 Plaza Way, in Walla Walla.
Trustees will hear a report on the new branch to be located at 1640 Plaza Way, said Punkey Adams, district executive director.
An opening date has not been set, but improvements at the site have been completed by the landlord and shelving is expected to be installed in April.
There will also be a discussion of a professional services consultant for a study to identify and evaluate models for delivering effective, sustainable library services throughout the Walla Walla region.
An executive session for personnel evaluation may also be held.
