The Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial Veterans Affairs Medical Center will celebrate Black History Month on Thursday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Building. 78.
Presentations will be followed by a potluck at noon featuring a variety of ethnic foods.
This year's theme, "African Americans and the Civil War," is an opportunity to learn about the contributions of African Americans during that war.
Black History Month was established in 1976.
