Distribution of food for those needing assistance will be Tuesday at the Walla Walla Housing Authority gym, 501 Cayuse St., 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Second Harvest of the Inland Northwest will bring a truckload of produce and other perishable products.
Those receiving food must self-declare as low income and in need of food; eligibility verification isn't required. Food will be given only to those present.
No appointment is needed, and the event will occur rain or shine. Attendees should bring an empty box. Blue Mountain Action Council staff will be available to assist with applications for food stamps.
