Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

  • 700 block South Park Street. Friday. Window and handle on entry door damaged, possible burglary attempt.
  • 600 block Boyer Avenue. Vehicle prowled, window damaged, iPhone and iPod adaptor and cord taken.
  • Goodwill Stores, 229 E. Alder St. Store front entry door and window damaged, building entered, unknown if anything taken.
  • 1100 block West Elm Street. Residence entered over weekend, PlayStation3, iPod and cologne taken.

WW County Sheriff

  • U.S. Hwy. 12, milepost 316. Vehicle window broken, stereo taken.
  • 300 block Eagle Crest Drive. Vehicle prowl, stereo taken from dashboard.
  • 2000 block Delmont Street. Outdoor extension cord.

MF Police

  • Zip Zone, 419 S. Main Street. Gasoline theft.


WW Police

  • North Wilbur and East Isaacs avenues. 5:34 p.m. Thursday. Two-vehicle, rear-end collision. No injuries reported.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • North Touchet Road, milepost 13, Dayton. 9:24 a.m. Sunday. Single-vehicle, noninjury accident.

  • Gene Richard Smith, Jr., 54, 524 Last Chance Road. Saturday. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.

  • Vernon Denison, Waitsburg, Saturday. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.

  • 700 block North Eighth Avenue. Gang graffiti on garage.
  • 700 block North Eighth Avenue. Car window broken over the weekend.

CP Police

  • 600 block of Southeast Fourth Street, reported Friday. Cling wrap stretched across the street.
  • 200 block Southeast Sixth Street. Log thrown through window of residence.

Umatilla County Sheriff

  • Building on Ferndale Road in Milton-Freewater tagged with graffiti signs, reported Thursday.
