Thefts, Burglaries


WW Police

Linden and Nakomis lanes, Sunday. Vehicle prowled. Window broken, items stolen.

400 block East Sumach Street. Saturday. Window in back door broken, residence entered, house contents gone through.

00 block South Park Street. Monday. Wallet stolen from coat pocket.

900 block Penrose Street. Residential burglary some time between Dec. 22 and Monday. Saxophone, laptop computer and cash taken.

WW County Sheriff

100 block Centerland Drive, Burbank. Travel trailer burglarized at some time within the past two months. Wine, liquor, medications, blankets, toothbrushes and cups taken.

MF Police

900 block South Mill Street. Home burglarized, numerous items stolen.

Umatilla County Sheriff

West Crockett Road, Milton-Freewater. Entry forced into residence, items taken unknown.

Birch Creek Road, Milton-Freewater. Monday. House entered and gone through, computer and printers taken.

County Road, Milton-Freewater. Sunday. Residential burglary, back door forced, cash and television stolen.

South Fourth Street, Athena. Monday. Cash stolen.

West Lincoln Street, Athena. Saturday. Residence burglarized, back door forced open.

East Main Street, Weston. Friday. Snowboard stolen.



Collisions


WW Police

Modoc and Yellowstone streets. 8:50 a.m. Monday. Driver failed to stop at sign and struck a vehicle in the intersection. George Winn, 82, reported a knee injury.

1100 block West Rose Street. 3:07 p.m. Monday. Driver pulled out of parking lot, swing wide and struck a vehicle in the inside lane. No injuries reported.

North Sixth Avenue and West Rose Street. 9:06 a.m. Monday. A vehicle was struck by another vehicle, which left the scene.

400 block South Eighth Avenue. 11:30 p.m. Monday. Officer was in pursuit of a vehicle travelling erratically at a high rate of speed. The vehicle headed north on Eighth Avenue and struck the rear of a parked van in the 400 block. The driver was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence and reckless driving.

South Spokane and East Alder streets. 12:58 p.m. Monday. Driver backing from private drive collided with a driver backing from a parking strip. No injuries reported.

400 block South Eighth Avenue. 9:36 a.m. A parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle.

WW County Sheriff

East Isaacs Avenue at the interchange. 1:45 p.m. Monday. Rear-end collision, no injuries reported.

MF Police

455 N. Columbia St. 2:07 p.m. Wednesday. Parked vehicle struck by another vehicle which left the scene. The driver of that vehicle was later cited for hit-and-run.

00 block Northeast Sixth Avenue. Monday. Vehicle damaged by hit-and-run.

WW Police

Leonora May Powell, 25, 1012 W. Willow St. Monday. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.

MF Police

Paul Montgomery Webb, 51, 215 N.W. Sixth Ave. Monday. Charge: investigation of third-degree theft.

Delmar Martin Davis, 48, 1008 Parallel St. Saturday. Charge: investigation of fourth-degree assault.



Fire, Ambulance runs


WW Fire Dept.

Malcolm Street and Third Avenue. 6:12 p.m. Monday. Arcing, shorted electrical equipment. No fire.



Vandalism


WW Police

400 block South Seventh Avenue. Gang graffiti on garage some time between Dec. 24 and Monday.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Eastside Road, Milton-Freewater. Monday. At least two shots fired through the exterior wall on back side of the building.

Highway 11, Milton-Freewater. Sunday. Windshield damaged.

Columbia County Sheriff

300 block North First Street, Dayton. Vandalism and trespassing reported.
