DAYTON - Dayton's boys basketball team leveled their record on the season with a 58-49 win over Walla Walla Valley Academy Thursday to run its mark to 5-5.

Garett Turner started for the Bulldogs, dropping 20 points on the night.

"Turner was great for us," said Dayton head coach Roy Ramirez. "It's a night for us to be proud of how we closed out the game."

Dayton opened up a double-figure lead on multiple occasions, but it wasn't until the fourth quarter that the team was able to shake WWVA.

"They played a great game," Ramirez said of WWVA. "There were times that it looked like we could pull away, but they stuck with us."
