MORO - The Helix boys basketball team's mission to pick up its first win lasted at least another day after the Grizzlies fell to Condon/Wheeler, 45-23, Friday.

Zach Sundin led the way for Helix (0-12) with 11 points.

"We had a lot to be proud of tonight," said Helix head coach Brooke Garton. "We just need to work on finding a way to get a balanced scoring attack."

After an even first quarter, C/W split the game open with a 20-4 second period.

"It was tight early, but then they got the best of us," Garton said. "Our defense was strong, but they got on a run and we couldn't recover."

Helix hosted Central Christian Saturday evening.
