BOYS BASKETBALL — Connell 48, Burbank 44

CONNELL - Connell came out on the top end of a see-saw battle with Columbia-Burbank here Friday night in a boys South Central Conference Eastern Division basketball game.

The Eagles, who trailed by a basket at the end of the first quarter and led by two points at halftime, broke a 32-32 tie after three quarters by outscoring the Coyotes 16-12 en route to the 48-44 victory.

Kade Eppich led the Eagles with 17 points while Dylan Bertsch paced Burbank with 10 points. Nathan Roberts and Dillan Smith added eight points each for the Coyotes and Tanner Woody added seven.
