HELIX - The Helix boys picked up their first win of the basketball season with a 69-35 shellacking of Central Christian Saturday night.
"It was a good win for us tonight," said Helix coach Brooke Garton. "We played some really good team basketball."
Zach Sunden led the Grizzlies with 27 points - almost outscoring Central Christian on his own.
"He played really well," Garton said. "He really got all his points off the team passing the ball."
Helix (1-13, 1-4) will take the win and the confidence it should add in practice, Garton said. They play at Echo next Friday.
