IRRIGON - Tyler Babb's 27 points and 11 rebounds weren't enough to lead the Weston-McEwen TigerScots boys basketball team to a victory Friday night in Blue Mountain Conference action as the TigerScots fell to Irrigon, 51-46.

"Babb had a great game," W-M coach Brian Pickard said. "A double-double."

Post Dallas Reich backed up Babb with 10 points.

"Usually we have four guys in double figures," Pickard said. "Tonight, we only had two guys in double figures.

"And we had 22 turnovers. We average 12 per game."

The TigerScots had a one-point lead at the half, but couldn't keep up in the second half.

"Give them credit, they wanted it more than we did," Pickard said. "We couldn't get anything going consistently on offense in the second half. Irrigon also outworked us and outhustled us when it really mattered."
