Thefts, Burglaries

WW County Sheriff

300 block Fourth Street, Touchet. Attempted burglary. Man knocked on door and then went to back of residence and attempted to siphon gasoline.

600 block West Second Street, Waitsburg. Monday. Window forced, house gone through. Safe door pried, cash and prescription medication taken.

MF Police

Pendleton Grain Growers, 217 E. Broadway St. Theft of electrical wire.

200 block Northeast 11th Avenue. Wallet stolen from inside parked vehicle.

400 block West Broadway Street. Television, handgun and jewelry taken from residence.

Columbia County Sheriff

400 block West Main Street, Dayton. Stolen credit card used at local business.


WW Police

500 block North Wilbur Avenue, parking lot. 8:56 a.m. Monday. Two-vehicle collision, due to icy surface.

East Chestnut Street and South Second Avenue. 4:57 p.m. Monday. Driver failed to yield right of way while turning and struck a car that had the right of way. Driver of second vehicle, Justin Guzman of Walla Walla, received a cut on his forehead.

WW County Sheriff

Mill Creek and Buroeker roads. 650 a.m. Friday. Vehicle struck deer.


WW Police

Kyle Eugene Fairley, 19, 429 E. Sumach St. Monday. Investigation of second-degree assault.

WW County Sheriff

Jose Rafael Martinez Rodriguez, 29, 43 Lado Viego St., Unit D. Monday. Charges: investigation of first-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, third-degree theft.

Fire, Ambulance Runs

WW Fire Dept.

240 W, Alder St. 7:25 a.m. Monday. Alarm system sounded due to malfunction

Chestnut Street and Second Avenue. 4:57 p.m. Monday. Assist with 2-vehicle crash cleanup. No injuries.

300 block Whitman Mission Road. 5:50 a.m. Monday. Fire alarm.

Chestnut Street and Second Avenue. 4:57 p.m. Monday. Mutual aid to Walla Walla Fire Department at accident scene.


WW County Sheriff

00 block Sage Road, Burbank. Thursday. Brick thrown through window and vehicle windows smashed.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Stateline Road, Milton-Freewater. Rock thrown through kitchen window.
