DAYTON -- Claudia Nysoe was named new Dayton of Commerce manager last week and began her new job Monday.
Nysoe replaces Lisa Ronnberg, who resigned in December to take a job with Columbia County.
Nysoe has a background in marketing. She and her husband moved to Dayton about two years ago from Port Orchard, where they lived for 25 years. Nysoe's husband, Dain Nysoe, is a Dayton native.
Chamber President Bette Lou Crothers said, "I'm really thrilled with Claudia. I am expecting good things."
Office assistant Amber Phinney will remain at the Chamber.
The Chamber office is located at 166 E. Main St. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Nysoe and Phinney can be reached at 382-4825.
