MISSION, Ore. - Visiting Dufur outscored Nixyaawii in all four quarters here Saturday night en route to a 75-52 Big Sky Conference cross-division boys basketball victory.
Boone Little scored 16 points and led four Dufur players in double figures. Kory Lepinski finished with 14 points for the Rangers, Steven Begay added 13 and Wesley Walsey contributed 10.
The Golden Eagles' Josh Barkley pumped in 29 points to take game scoring honors. Joe Crawford, with 10 points, was the only other Nixyaawii player in double figures.
Nixyaawii's record dipped to 7-10 on the season. The Golden Eagles take a 4-2 Big Sky East record into a pair division counters this week, vs. Echo Thursday in the Pendleton Convention Center and Friday at Condon-Wheeler.
Dufur improved its overall record to 8-4. The Rangers host Central Christian tonight in a Big Sky West counter, travel to Lyle, Wash., on Tuesday for a non-league game and host Sherman County on Saturday in another a West-counting game.
