WALLA WALLA -- The Walla Walla High School Blue Devil dance team will host a dance camp for elementary and middle school students on Saturday.
The camp will run from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the small gym at Wa-Hi. Registration begins at 11 a.m. Information and permission slips were passed out at each elementary and middle school. Permission slips will be available at registration.
Camp participants will perform at halftime of the Wa-Hi boys' varsity basketball game with Moses Lake on Saturday night.
The camp is open to students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The cost is $20 per student. The cost includes a Blue Devil Dance T-shirt and free admission to the game.
Dancers will learn skills and routines by the the Blue Devil dance team members. The Wa-Hi team placed first in the Sunnyside Dance Competition last weekend with Richland placing second and Hanford third.
