Carolyn Marie Perrault was born Nov. 18, 1956, in Walla Walla, to
Merle and Joyce (Hawley) Meyer. She died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at her home in Hermiston at the age of 54.
Carolyn was raised in Walla Walla and moved to Richland, Wash., her senior year and graduated from Hanford High School in Richland. She attended Blue Mountain Community College, Walla Walla Community College and Columbia Basin Community College.
On May 28, 1977, she married Dean William Perrault on her grandfather's apple orchard in Winthrop, Wash. They lived in Walla Walla for many years before moving to Hermiston in 1985. Carolyn enjoyed making jewelry, making decorative gourds and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dean Perrault of Hermiston; mother and step-father, Joyce and Ed McClanahan of Richland, Wash.; son, Toussaint Perrault of Portland; twin brothers, Paul Meyer of Roseburg, Ore., and Hans Meyer of Richland, Wash. She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Meyer; grandparents, Urban and Hazel Meyer; and maternal grandfather, Don Hawley.
At her request, there will be no services held. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Disposition was by cremation.
