Garfield County Commissioners are Dean Burton, Wynne McCabe and Robert Johnson. With all present Tuesday commissioners:
- GRANT: Discussed Transportation Improvement Grant to repair sidewalks on Tenth Street in the City of Pomeroy.
- BRIDGES: Learned the state will no longer inspect bridges. County Engineer Grant Morgan told commissioners he thinks a part-time building inspector can probably do it. The position will be posted internally until Jan. 24.
- BUILDING SERVICES: Approved an agreement with Columbia County to provide building permit and building inspection service, pending approval by the Garfield County prosecutor. Unanimous.
