- Florentino Meza Ramos, 26, 6418 County Road, No. 448, was sentenced Jan. 18 on one count each attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle and violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act-possession of methamphetamine. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $75.30 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 crime lab and biological fees, 181 days in the county jail, credit for 57 days served, 12 months community custody. On Jan. 3 Ramos pleaded guilty to not immediately stopping when signalled to do so by a fully marked police vehicle and in doing so did drive in a reckless manner and to also possessing methamphetamine, both on Aug. 24.
- Salvador Duran Saucedo Jr., 21, complete address unavailable, was charged Jan. 19 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and possession of a dangerous weapon. Saucedo is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and possessing metal knuckles on Jan. 17.
- Trevor J. Kelly, 23, no permanent address listed, was charged Jan. 19 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and one count each of third-degree possessing stolen property, second-degree possessing stolen property, and possession of a dangerous weapon. Kelly is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine; using drug paraphernalia; knowingly possessing, receiving, retaining, concealing or disposing of miscellaneous stolen items and a stolen checking account number and checks; and possessing metal knuckles on Jan. 17.
