TOUCHET - The girls basketball Southeast 1B League leader proved why they are undefeated in SE1B play here Saturday.

Colton drained 14 treys on the way to a 66-18 win over Touchet.

"They are scary good," Indians coach Mike Giusti said. "They make shots other teams don't take."

Colton put up 17 unanswered points in the first period and never looked back.

Jenna Moser hit four 3s and led all scorers as she pumped home 18 points for Colton.

The Indians were led by Hillary Intineralli who scored eight. Carley Frazier added five for the Indians.

Touchet drew praise for a second-half effort that resulted in 12 points.

"Our goal was to make it as tough on them as we could," Giusti said. "We did that, and especially in the second half, we moved the ball and got some open shots even though they put a lot of pressure on."

Touchet, 2-8 in conference, travels to Waitsburg for a non-league battle with WP Tuesday.
