LEWISTON - Mac-Hi's wrestling team put up a strong showing with six top-five finishes at the Clearwater Classic in Lewiston Saturday.
Ryan Bullock took first place in the 135-pound weight division, while Lawrence Timmons claimed top honors in the 215-pound bracket.
"For us to get so many high finishers in a 29-team event is a testiment to how well our guys can perform," said Mac-Hi head coach Beau Chester. "These are some of the best teams in the Pacific Northwest."
Overall, Mac-Hi finished in third place behind Lewiston and Caldwell, Idaho.
"This was great achievement for our team," Chester said. "We continue to improve through out our group."
The Pioneers get a few days to recover before a meet versus Ontario on Friday.
