RICHLAND - Walla Walla Valley Academy's boys basketball team struggled out of the gate on the road at Liberty Christian, falling behind by 10 in the first half and losing 60-41 in Southeast 2B boys basketball action Tuesday.

"We had trouble scoring in the first half," said assistant coach Paul Starkebaum. "Liberty Christian did a good job of getting the ball inside on us.

"They ran their offense well. The second half went pretty much like the first. We never really got our offense going, and they kept on getting good shots."

WWVA was lead by nine points from Matt Moore and James Beck.

Up next for WWVA is a home meeting with Dayton on Thursday.
