Weston invites residents to discuss safe travel for children

The meeting will also include discussion on how to revitalize downtown.


WESTON - Community members are invited to a discussion on how to improve safety as children travel to and from school, as well as how to revitalize downtown.

Presentations on the Safe Routes to School program and the Weston Downtown Revitalization project will be held Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at Weston Memorial Hall, 210 E. Main St.

The event is hosted by the Athena-Weston School District and the city of Weston.

There will also be presentations sponsored by the Transportation and Growth Management program, part of the state's Department of Transportation and Department of Land Conservation and Development.
