MILTON-FREEWATER - Mac-Hi's boys managed just five points in the second half here Saturday night in a Greater Oregon League basketball loss to Ontario, 35-25.

Romero Corona led the Pioneers, now 1-4 in league and 4-14 overall, with nine points. Ricky Angel grabbed 10 rebounds for Mac-Hi.

"We couldn't hit anything," Mac-Hi coach Sean Oliver said. "Most of our (22) turnovers came in the second half.

"In the first half, both teams played decent," Oliver said. "The third quarter killed us. We had a lot of good looks. We couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

"Our defense was great, but we could not get it done on the offensive end," Oliver said.
