ASOTIN - Waitsburg-Prescott's boys basketball team won its 14th straight game Saturday, defeating Asotin on the road in a Southeast 2B clash 59-52.

Dustin Wooderchak led a balanced attack for W-P (14-1 8-0) that overcame a 25 point night from Asotin's Ben Servatius.

"Wooderchak was great for us," said W-P head coach T.J. Scott. "We really put it together as a team after a slow start."

Asotin lead 11-6 with just over a minute remaining in the first quarter but a quick bucket and a three from Zach Bartlow set the tone for a 20-11 second quarter that W-P never relinquished.

"We played great offensively, and it set the tone for the game," Scott said. "It's much easier to play with a lead."

Up next for W-P is a home game with Walla Walla Valley Academy on Wednesday.
