Emmanuel Lutheran Church to host Day Camp this week

WALLA WALLA - Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 628 Lincoln St., will hold a Day Camp from 9-a.m. to 3 pm. Tuesday through Friday.

The camp's theme is "Splish Slash," t teach children about the "water of life."

The camp is primarily for cildren ages 5 to 11, but older youngsters may participate as helpers.

Brunch slated for Christian Women's Connection

STARBUCK - Christian Women's Connection will hold a brunch this month at 10 a.m. July 13 at the home of Judy Jackson, located at 825 Highway 261.

The cost is $9.

The brunch will be catered by Louann Truesdale.

Music will be provided by Debbie Hoilman.

Anna Tracy, a member of Generation X, who came from the Los Angeles area to rural Oregon, will speak.

Betsy Nemitz will share yard art that she has put together.
