MILTON-FREEWATER -- Glenna Awbrey, project director for the STAR Project will the guest speaker at the July meeting of the Milton-Freewater Democrats.
The meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Tino's Sports Grill on North Main Street.
The STAR Project, which stands for Successful Transition and Re-Entry, assists released female inmates in adjusting to their new roles in the community. Also on the agenda will be planning for the annual fall barbeque to be held on Sept. 11 at the Frazier Farmstead.
