LETTERS TO THE EDITOR - Support for WWII aircraft appreciated

I would like to acknowledge the community of Walla Walla for hosting the CAF Arizona Wing's B-25 recently.

The local support of visitors to our WWII aircraft was gratifying. Our commemorative Air Force crews supporting the B-25 were amazed at the response and enthusiasm shown by the community. We had four flights between Saturday and Sunday sharing the heritage experience of flying in "Maid In the Shade" - our B-25J aircraft.

I would especially like to praise Jennifer Skoglund, the Walla Walla airport manager, for all her efforts to make us feel welcome. We appreciate Walla Walla, for embracing and sharing our passion in preserving our flying heritage.

Capt. Larry Kline,

co-pilot "Maid In the Shade"

Phoenix
