WALLA WALLA - Two Walla Walla men were arrested over the weekend on suspicion of drawing a gun and knife in a fight, officials said.
Officers with the Walla Walla Police Department arrived at a home in the 200 block of East Birch Street shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday to find a man pointing a gun at a group of people in a driveway, according to a news release.
After deploying a Taser, officers arrested Monty R. Duke, 42, of 260 E. Birch St., on suspicion of two counts of first-degree assault, and one count of felony harassment.
Also arrested was Dylan C. Arland, 19, of 608 Electric Ave., on suspicion of disorderly conduct and unlawful display of a weapon. Arland is believed to have armed himself with a knife after being confronted by Duke to leave the property. Members of Arland's family were also involved in the face-off, police said.
No shots were fired, and no injuries reported on either side of the confrontation, according to the release. Both men were booked into Walla Walla County Jail.
