WALLA WALLA -- Two Walla Walla men were arrested over the weekend on suspicion of drawing a gun and knife in a fight, officials said.
Officers with the Walla Walla Police Department arrived at a home in the 200 block of East Birch Street shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday to find a man pointing a gun at a group of people in a driveway, according to a news release.
After deploying a Taser, officers arrested Monty R. Duke, 42, of 260 E. Birch St., on suspicion of two counts of first-degree assault, and one count of felony harassment. He was formally charged in Walla Walla County Superior on Monday and released on bail.
Also arrested was Dylan C. Arland, 19, of 608 Electric Ave., on suspicion of disorderly conduct and unlawful display of a weapon. Arland is believed to have armed himself with a knife after being confronted by Duke to leave the property. Members of Arland's family were also involved in the face-off, police said.
No shots were fired, and no injuries reported, according to the release. Both men were booked into Walla Walla County Jail.
