DAYTON -- Dayton's Liberty Theater is bringing "Buck," an award-winning documentary, to its screen later this month. A special screening with an appearance July 28 by horse whisperer Buck Brannaman, the film's subject.
Evening activities start with a down-home barbecue beef dinner at 5:30 p.m. in the theater annex. The film, which shares Buck's life journey from a childhood of abuse to his current role as the nation's premier horse whisperer, will begin at 7 p.m. Brannaman will speak following the film.
Tickets for the dinner and movie are $40. Tickets for the movie only are $25. Both can be purchased at the theater or at www.libertytheater.org. Proceeds will benefit the Liberty Theater and Brannaman's charity, A Legacy of Legends.
