Aaron M. Field, 27, 85144 Hurst Lane, Milton-Freewater was sentenced July 22 on one count each violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act-possession of methamphetamine and third-degree driving while license suspended. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 crime lab and biological fees, 90 days in the county jail, credit for 62 days served, 12 months community custody. On July 5 Field pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and driving while his license was suspended or revoked on May 22.
Johnny Lee Jordan, 38, 47 E. Chestnut St., was sentenced July 22 on one count escape from community custody. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $97 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 60 days in the county jail, credit for 58 days served. On July 18 Jordan pleaded guilty to willfully discontinuing making himself available to his community corrections officer by failing to make contact with the officer between Feb. 8 and March 29.
On July 21, the court dismissed a fugitive complaint against Wane T. Marsh, as he has been returned to the state of Idaho.
On July 26, the court dismissed charges against Gary Lee Jones, Walla Walla, for reason the state may not be able to prove each and every element of the crime beyond a reasonable doubt.
