  • Alejandro Morales, 23, 815 N. Ninth Ave., was charged May 27 with three counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Morales is accused of unlawfully delivering cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school bus route stop twice on March 23 and once on April 19.

  • David L. Tucker, 49, 404 Willard St., was sentenced May 31 on one count second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $62.70 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 120 days in the county jail concurrent with two other sentences, credit for 61 days served. In a second cause, on May 31 Tucker was sentenced on one count violation of a protection order-domestic violence. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $110 in court costs, $115.10 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 domestic violence penalty assessment fee, 364 days in the county jail with 304 days suspended, to run concurrent with two other sentences, 12 months probation. In a third cause, on May 31 Tucker was sentenced on one count violation of a protection no contact order-domestic violence and one count telephone harassment-domestic violence. On May 17 Tucker pleaded guilty to possessing a semi-automatic pistol after having previously been convicted of a felony and being prohibited from possessing a firearm, between Oct. 16 and Feb. 20; to knowingly violating a restraining order on Feb. 20; and to, with intent to harass or intimidate, making harassing telephone calls and knowingly violating a no contact order between March 16 and March 22.
