WALLA WALLA -- Family and friends far and near will get a chance to see the class of 2011 graduate from Walla Walla High School Friday night thanks to a new online feature.
Walla Walla Public Schools plans to conduct a live broadcast of the ceremony online. The live video stream will start about 6:30 p.m. and continue through the end of the ceremony.
Wa-Hi's commencement begins at 7 p.m. and is held on the main lawn of the Wa-Hi campus. About 450 seniors, including some from alternative degree programs, will be walking and receiving diplomas Friday.
The stream will be available at the distsrict's web page, wwps.org, or the Wa-Hi page, wahibluedevils.org.
The password to log on to the live stream is goblue.
Wa-Hi technology teacher Dennis DeBroeck coordinated the project.
