Christian Women's Connection luncheon slated June 15

PATAHA - Christian Women's Connection Luncheon will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 15 at the Pataha Flour Mill, 50 Hutchens Hill Road. The luncheon is $9.

Becky Weber of Coeur d'Alene, a freelance Christian writer and the founder of Fragrance Ministries, will speak on "A New Dimension of Living."

She and husband Scott have been married 41 years and have three children and six grandchildren.

Vonda Cathers, owner of Vonda's Antique Mall in Pomeroy, will display Depression glassware and explain how to identify it. Jon Van Vogt of the Pataha Flour Mill will provide music.

Blue Mountain Baptist plans vacation Bible school

WALLA WALLA - Blue Mountain Baptist Church, 3009 Heritage Road, will hold its "Big New York City Adventure" vacation Bible school for K-6 grade youth, from 9 a.m.-noon, June 20-24. This year's Big Apple-theme features a New York City and Ellis Island skyline, music, crafts, recreation time and snacks along with Bible stories other activities.
