Columbia board to interview potential student representatives


BURBANK -- The Columbia School Board will hold a regular meeting Monday at 7 p.m. An executive session will be held at 5 p.m. to interview student School Board representatives.

The regular board meeting is being held on the first Monday of the month instead of the second.

During the meeting, board members will discuss the installation of solar panels at the school as a classroom resource; consider approval of certified staff contracts; issue classified staff reasonable assurance; and consider an Apollo energy grant contract.

The board will then hold a workshop on the 2011-12 budget, and Time to Teach behavior program.

The 7 p.m. meeting is open to the public.
