DIXIE - A collision at the west edge of town injured one person today.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred at 12:33 p.m. when a pickup eastbound on U.S. Highway 12 crossed the center line and struck an unoccupied car parked on the opposite shoulder.
Police said the driver of the pickup, Stacia E. Simmons, 24, Walla Walla, was taken to Providence St. Mary Medical Center for treatment. Information on her condition was not available this afternoon.
