Reptile Man visits Milton-Freewater library

MILTON-FREEWATER -- The Reptile Man brings his reptiles to kick off the Summer Reading Program activities at 4:45 p.m. Friday at the Milton-Freewater Public Library, 8 S.W. Eighth Ave. Richard Ritchey, aka "The Reptile Man," is based in western Oregon. He has worked with reptiles for 38 years and is licensed by the State of Oregon to possess and transport prohibited species of reptiles and amphibians.

Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Library hours noon-8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday; and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
