Police seek 'person of interest' in shooting death

Officials say the person, who hasn't been named, is not a suspect in Kevin A. Myrick's death.

Detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of Kevin A. Myrick.
Law enforcement is looking for a "person of interest" who may have information about the
shooting. This person is not a suspect and there is no probable cause for his arrest on this
homicide. Due to the sensitive nature of this investigation, his name is not being released.

WALLA WALLA - City police say they are looking for a "person of interest" who may have information about theshooting death of Kevin A. Myrick earlier this week.

Officer Tim Bennett, police spokesman, said the male, whose identity was not divulged, is not a suspect and there is no probable cause for his arrest in conneciton with the shooting.

Myrick, 24, died Monday afternoon at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was airlifted after being treated at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. He was taken to St. Mary after being shot Sunday.
