MILTON-FREEWATER -- The Milton-Freewater School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday immediately following a budget hearing.
The board will meet in the McLoughlin High School music room, 120 S. Main St., at 7 p.m. The budget hearing and board meeting are open to the public.
The purpose of the budget hearing is to receive public input and to discuss the budget committee's recommendations. Time will also be dedicated for any input on a supplemental budget, with the regular board meeting beginning about 7:10 p.m.
The board will consider adoption of a budget for the 2011-12 school year during its regular meeting, as well as adoption of its supplemental budget. The board will also be asked to declare seven buses as surplus property; approve revisions to about nine board policies; accept three donations; and hear reports on Alternative Education and Employee of the Quarter.
